2026- Local Business grants for Less Waste

Funding for Less Waste rounds support projects that increase the range, scale, and number of waste elimination activities on the Kāpiti Coast.

Note: Local Business grant applications can be for up to $50,000 maximum, and there is a minimum co-fund requirement of 25% of the application value requested.

How to apply

While online applications via SmartyGrants platform are preferred, and give the applicant better oversight of their application and report back, hard copies will also be accepted.

If you prefer hardcopy apply:

• Save the application form as a pdf print, or print off a hardcopy
• Complete the form
• Send it to us at:

If this is your first time using the online system, you will need to create an account. This will allow you to save your draft application and complete it at a time that suits you. It will also allow you to track all your previous submissions.
